Atlanta Local Legacy Campaign

Atlanta Local Legacy Campaign

Completed: Spring 2026

Client: Invest Atlanta

Scope of Work: Campaign Concept + Design

Atlanta Local Legacy was created to highlight businesses that have managed to survive in a city that reinvents itself every fifteen minutes. Restaurants tucked into old shopping centers. Family-owned shops with hand-painted signs. Places people reference with “my grandmother used to take me there” stories. The campaign centered on businesses that had been operating for thirty years or more, but the real subject was continuity. Memory. Neighborhood texture.

I designed the campaign system for IKE kiosks and other out-of-home placements across the city, using bold color, layered type, archival-inspired framing, and photography that let the businesses feel lived-in instead of overly branded. I kept thinking about how Atlanta talks constantly about what’s new while quietly losing the places that actually give the city its character.
