Design Emporium sends weather and gardening alerts to Georgia residents who opt in via SMS. Users text our number to begin, are asked for their 5-digit zip code (verified to be in Georgia), and then choose which message categories they want to receive by replying with numbers (e.g. "1,3"): 1) severe thunderstorm alerts, 2) freeze and drought alerts, 3) weekly gardening task reminders sent Thursdays. All messages are informational alerts based on their explicit selections — no marketing or promotional content. Users can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe and text START to rejoin.
