Scope of Work: Print Design

Invest Atlanta’s annual report needed to hold a huge range of stories at once — economic development, affordable housing, small business support, neighborhood investment, infrastructure, long-term planning — all while still functioning as a document people could actually move through without feeling buried halfway in.

I designed the report system around clarity and pacing first. Large photography, strong section breaks, cleaner information hierarchies, and visual moments that gave the denser material some breathing room. A lot of civic and economic development reporting can start to feel abstract very quickly, so I tried to keep the focus connected to the people, neighborhoods, and physical places behind the numbers.

I also wanted the report to feel confident without becoming overly polished or corporate-looking. Invest Atlanta’s work touches real parts of the city in very visible ways, and the design felt stronger when it acknowledged that texture a little instead of flattening everything into charts and statistics.
