CVC of Atlanta
CVC of Atlanta
Completed: Winter 2026
Client: Oyster South
Scope of Work: Event Design
CVC had already quietly outgrown its original name long before the rebrand happened. Most people were calling it “CVC” anyway because “Corporate Volunteer Council of Atlanta” is a mouthful, especially for an organization built around relationships, collaboration, and actual human participation. The rebrand acknowledged what was already true.
I designed a bold, flexible identity system centered around the initials themselves, with large color fields and open framing devices that could constantly shift to feature photography, volunteer stories, community partners, and events. I didn’t want the logo to behave like a static stamp sitting on top of everything. More like a structure that made room for other people to show up inside it.
A lot of nonprofit branding still defaults to soft blues and vague “helping hands” energy. We intentionally moved away from that. The new system feels brighter, more contemporary, and honestly more confident about the work they’re already doing.
