City Forest Certification

Have you ever seen signs in people’s yards or on properties that mention being a wildlife-friendly zone? These are spaces that have good sources of food, water, and shelter to raise young, and encourage wildlife to visit.

Trees Atlanta took this concept a step further to create the City Forest Certification program, a project that expands the idea of wildlife-friendly into a variety of different tracks.

I worked with their team to design and implement a system that could meet these different needs – we created one master sign design, and a series of all-weather vinyl decals that a participant could earn once they meet the criteria.
