Landlocked 9

Landlocked 9

Completed: Fall 2025

Client: Oyster South

Scope of Work: Event Design

Landlocked is Oyster South’s food and music festival, built around celebrating oyster farmers, coastal communities, and the chefs who turn Gulf and Southern seafood into something memorable. It’s technically connected to the symposium, but the energy shifts completely once the festival starts. Less conference badge. More cold oysters, live music, people standing around comparing their favorite farms like sports teams.

I designed the full event identity and all supporting materials for Landlocked 9, carrying the visual language across posters, signage, menus, merch, stage graphics, social assets, and the million little pieces that make festivals function. We leaned into a style that felt handmade and regional without drifting into fake rustic branding. Weathered textures, bold typography, warm coastal colors, things that felt pulled from dock signs and seafood packaging instead of a trend report.
