Atlanta's Juneteenth History

Juneteenth commemorates the effective end of slavery in the United States – a full two and a half years since the Emancipation Proclamation. To mark Juneteenth becoming a national holiday on June 17, 2021, I worked with REMERGE to design an interaxctive exhibition outlining the history of Sweet Auburn alongside Atlanta’s history. The goal was to show Sweet Auburn’s impact in the city over almost two centuries.
